My magical moment happened five years ago, when I was celebrating my tenth birthday. That day was the happiest one in my life. On the birthday morning I woke up with a smile on my face. I felt so happy because I knew it would be my best birthday. And it was true.
Later in the morning my mother, my sister and I started to prepare for the party. My mom took me to the market and we bought balloons, streamers, masks and caps to decorate the house. When we came home we sat down to work. My sister and I decorated the house. We put up the streamers with the tapes and hung the balloons on the walls, doors and windows. My mother spent the whole day in the kitchen cooking for all my guests. She baked a big cake and prepared some delicious food. My father arranged some games for them and he became the referee for all our games.
At four in the afternoon my friends arrived. They brought many presents for me and wished me Happy Birthday. I thanked them and we all went to play some games. After that, we ate the delicious food on the table. When we had finished eating, my friends sang to me the song “Happy Birthday” and I cut the cake. Then, I opened all the presents. The presents were simply wonderful. There were toys, board games, pencil boxes and other little things. About 8 o’clock in the evening my friends left. It was so sad, because we had so much fun. But good things always end. However, that birthday was the best of all birthdays.
