Last summer I was in Minsk with my parents, we visited a trading center, bought a uniform for me and a nice doll as a present for my birthday. When we were going along the street and eating ice-cream, I saw a man and a girl who looked like a disabled person. Her blank eyes and the expression of her face told me about it. I don’t know why, but all of a sudden I gave the girl my doll and went away. I distinctly heard the girl say “thank you” to me. Her father approached me; there were tears in his eyes. The matter was, the girl was dumb, and she hadn’t said a word for some years. When you do good things to somebody, miracles do happen.
